Southold 3BR Waterfront Home | Dock, Kayaks, Creek Views
Had a wonderful time with/ family at this location. Truly enjoyed being together. The view was gorgeous, too. The restaurants were all great…Especially the Friskey Oyster in Greenport.
Sunset Perch: Heated Pool, Rooftop Deck, Walk to Beach
We had a wonderful couple of weeks here! The house was gorgeous, very well equipped (the kitchen in particular – a chef’s dream!), and in a perfect location with easy access to Greenport. We were traveling with a baby and were provided a highchair and travel crib. Luxury Beach Getaways was very responsive to all of our questions and helped us arrange for housekeeping and anything else we needed. Will definitely come again!
Your North Fork Experience Starts Here
Orient Beach State Park stretches along a narrow peninsula between the Long Island Sound and Gardiner’s Bay, offering one of the most scenic and uncrowded stretches of shoreline in the region. Further west, the beaches along the Sound in Southold and Mattituck are ideal for an easy morning walk before a slow breakfast back at the house.
Orient Beach and Kenny’s Beach in Southold offer calm, sheltered swimming that is perfect for families and anyone who prefers the quieter side of the water. Goldsmith’s Inlet County Park in Peconic is a local favorite, tucked away from the summer crowds and well worth the short walk down to the shore. Spend the afternoon on the sand and return to your Luxury Beach Getaway home as the light softens over the bay.
Paddle through the Peconic Bay, explore the tidal creeks around Mattituck Inlet, or cast a line on one of the many fishing charters that run seasonally from Greenport Harbor. The North Fork’s sheltered waters make it one of the best spots on Long Island for kayaking, paddleboarding, and clamming. After a full day on the water, your Luxury Beach Getaway home is the perfect place to recharge.
The North Fork Wine Trail winds through more than 30 wineries, from Bedell Cellars in Cutchogue to Paumanok Vineyards in Aquebogue, each one worth an afternoon stop. For dinner, The Frisky Oyster in Greenport or Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck make for a memorable night out. East End Arts in Riverhead and the many working studios scattered across the North Fork round out a cultural scene that punches well above its size.
Southampton and East Hampton offer great dining, galleries, and boutiques. Sag Harbor is worth a visit for its beautiful main street and historic harbor. Montauk has a relaxed, surf-town energy at the tip of the South Fork. Each town is a short drive from your Luxury Beach Getaway home, making it easy to explore a different one every day.

Plan for roughly 2 to 3 hours by car from Midtown Manhattan, depending on traffic. The Long Island Rail Road also runs direct service to several Hamptons villages for a car-free option.
Summer is all about beaches, water sports, and dining out. Fall brings farm stands and North Fork wine trails. Winter and spring are quieter, ideal for a genuinely restful escape, with many restaurants and shops open year-round.
Absolutely. Our properties are designed for comfortable, unhurried stays. They work equally well for couples, families, and groups of friends who want to mix beach days with relaxed evenings in a well-appointed home.
Layers are always a good idea, as coastal weather shifts quickly. In summer, bring beach gear and comfortable walking shoes. In fall and winter, add warm layers and a rain jacket. A smart outfit or two is worth packing for dinner out in the villages.
