Modern, spacious home with a beautiful view. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had coffee on the deck every morning to catch the sunrise and watch the wildlife. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to make your meals. There was plenty of space for our party of nine and the house is close to shopping, restaurants and beaches.

The property was absolutely fantastic. The positive: The view was amazing overlooking the Mattituck inlet. The living areas are fantastic, well equipped and the kitchen is great! The bedrooms, while a bit sparse, were fine, especially the master. Bathrooms were great as well. Fishing from the dock was a blast and we caught a bunch. Watching the boats go by from the deck was really relaxing as well. The house is super close to the Old Mill Inn, a great newly renovated and reopened restaurant right on the water. Close to the beach as well as shops, wineries and fish markets. There is a ton of wildlife - wild turkeys, deer, etc., That was really neat to see. The only very slight negatives were the beds (hard or sinking in the middle), and the dock. If you have elderly folks with you or little ones, it would be tough to get down to the dock as there are a ton of stairs. We also saw some poison ivy which we removed. The dock itself is pretty rough, with bees nests and pretty dirty. Fan in master bedroom was broken and the beach parking situation is hard to navigate. We bought a pass and then found out one was already in the house. Otherwise, without a pass, you have to walk onto the beach which is a good hike, especially in the heat. All in all though a great property, extremely communicative property manager and a great location. Would definitely rent this house again!

We were so pleased with this rental; the location, the accomodations, the cleanliness. Kitchen was stocked & grill was clean; we were able to make simple meals when we didnt go out to ear. We had a few small issues which were taken care of same day by property manager. Only issues were spotty internet & phone service; also deck stairs need to be replaced.

We had a wonderful family reunion here and really enjoyed the beautiful location right on the water. House was well-stocked for all the kids and grown ups. Hosts were very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend!

Took my family of 9 away for the weekend. The home was spotless and bright. It sits high on a hill surrounded by wildlife. Felt like you were in a treehouse within a bird sanctuary - extremely relaxing, watching boats pass by all day. There were multiple areas for everyone to relax in the home without being on top of each other. The ping-pong table and jacuzzi were big hits. There are 3 flights of steps to get to the water, so don't forget anything if spending the day on the dock. It was a perfect inlet for the kids to enjoy the kayaks. The host responded immediately to all my questions and was very accommodating. Highly recommend this home and host!

Loved this house! Very modern and cozy, the location is private, beautiful views! The weather wasn't the best for my trip but the spacious inside gave us a lot of room for activities and floor to ceiling windows still allowed us to enjoy the view. A huge plus is that the hot tub is under a deck, so we were still able to utilize it while it was raining! Host was very responsive and helpful! Myself and my friends would definitely go back again!

The living area is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for meal prep. The street presence is unassuming but entering the home is a wow moment with a beautiful view and waterfront access. Great place for our friends reunion! Very clean and spacious. Great kitchen and dining area for group dinners. Spacious rooms. Only thing is say is some overgrown trees walking up to the house, but really wasn’t a big deal

Hello Debbie---thank you again for setting us up with the house in Mattatuck. It was a wonderful place to stay----neat, clean, good furniture and well stocked for cooking. The water view from the primary bedroom and the deck was stunning with amazing bird activity and birdsongs. The only thing that could be done to improve the property would be some landscaping and a mowed path to the dock (high grass had ticks, unfortunately). Other than that, it was a 5 star stay and you can quote me!!! Best, Robert.

What an amazing stay! The house is perfect! Great open floor plan with plenty of space. Well-stocked kitchen. Had everything we needed. Host was very accommodating and responded promptly to any questions we had. We loved the ping pong table and had a lot of fun in the house and at the surrounding wineries and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay, the house was updated, bright, and so spacious - great for a large family to really spread out. The views were spectacular! We stayed there in February - frigid temps, but the house was very warm and cozy and we were even able to enjoy getting into the hot tub outside. Debbie was very responsive upon our arrival after 5pm when we somehow couldn't find the lockbox to get in. The kitchen was well equipped and is an incredible area to entertain a large family of 7. Plenty of fun in the house; several areas for TV watching, ping pong table, hot tub, and numerous games to entertain ourselves with. I can only imagine how beautiful the area is in the warmer months....we will have to return to appreciate the magnificent outside surroundings; dock, kayaks, local restaurants and beaches.

This home is incredible! Perfect for a large group. Great views, the dock is beautiful. The host is so helpful and very responsive. She was able to help with any and all questions. I was here during the fall and it was gorgeous. I can't imagine how beautiful it is in the summer. It's also a short drive to the main town and to the beach. Would 100% stay again!
