Spent the weekend at this lovely home with 2 of my friends, and we all brought our well-behaved dogs. It’s perfect for a chill getaway from the city. House was just as described, sits on a beautiful lake, and has an amazing multi-level patio out back. The view of the lake from the kitchen/dining area was spectacular, as well. You could spend all your time at the house enjoying the property, or visiting area wineries.

This is a great house and a great owner. Super location on an idyllic lake, 10 minutes from the north shore beaches, some great restaurants, and super farm stands (the tomatoes!). All this for a very reasonable peak season price. We will definitely be back next summer - if it’s available!

Great spot on the shore of a small lake. We were looking for a place with closer proximity to Hampton Bays but still close enough to the city we had to work in. Having multiple beds and two full showers (which were amazing) was really helpful. Communication and responsiveness was impressive. Outside area overlooking the water was my favorite part. We will be back next year for the same weeklong stay.

We spent three weeks vacationing in and around New York. The days at Lake Panama were the icing on the cake. Communication with you before and during our stay was seamless, the accommodation right on the lake was gorgeous, and the beauty of Long Island's coastal areas is breathtaking. This property and the owner were wonderful!! The pictures of the house and the surrounding area do not do it justice. There were beautiful geese and swans on the lake and it was quiet and peaceful. We had 5 adults in our party and one teenager and never felt cramped or crowded together. We will definitely be back!!!

We had a great stay coming back to Long Island to spend the week celebrating Thanksgiving with my crazy big Italian family.
Staying here made our time back on LI so much more enjoyable.
We loved the peaceful setting on the lake.
Our breakfast time was great, just sitting in the dining room / sun room and enjoying the amazing view.
We even used the Kayaks a couple of times.

Second time here for the summer and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. The house is exceptional, clean and even better than the photos. The view of the lake is breathtaking and we made full use of all three outdoor areas. Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake from the deck as well as the indoor dining area. We loved having our morning coffee while watching the sunrise across the lake, enjoyed the lake during the day with our toddler and two senior dogs, and ended the night under the stars on the deck. The location is great as the lake itself is very serene but there’s a grocery store and a bunch of restaurants 5 mins away. We found a lot of plant based food options nearby (an Italian restaurant and a vegan bakery) which is a bonus. Will come back next summer!

Amazing lake house. Best we’ve seen by far. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was spotlessly clean, well maintained and exactly like the pictured…maybe even better in person to be honest. The view of the lake was just stunning and the beachfront area was a bonus. We had a relaxing stay away from the city. The host was extremely responsive and pleasant in all text interactions. We would definitely stay here again.

Waking up to the view of the lake was an experience in itself. The house is renovated and it felt like we were the first guests. Impeccable furniture, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of internal space, it comfortably accommodates more than one family. Close to pharmacies and grocery stores. This is the place if you want to relax and disconnect. I wish I could have stayed longer.

This was such a nice place with awesome views of the lake, quiet and very relaxing. Our host was responsive and the communication from start to finish was phenomenal. Well worth the price we paid. As soon as we walked we could smell the cleanliness of the house and everything inside was pristine. This place has been beautifully remodeled with a huge deck up close to the house and another one on the beach. Highly recommend this property for those who want to tour the wine country sites and the Wading River area or just relax at the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is exactly as pictured. Our family need a quick, quiet getaway. We were able to relax on both levels of the deck overlooking the picturesque lake. We took the Kayaks out on the lake and enjoyed pickleball courts less than 10 minutes from the house. We found good restaurants that met our dietary restrictions. We enjoyed a movie together Saturday night on the large TV on the comfort of the couch.
The home is very recently redone - everything was brand new and in great shape. This home is worth the money and is really a gem less than 2 hours from NYC.

The lake is very small, but we liked the size. You can kayak from one end to the other in about 20 minutes. The provided kayaks were nice.
The property was newly renovated, but had some cleaning and maintenance issues and some things built/installed incorrectly (e.g., stairs uneven, washer/dryer backwards--but this was mostly just a minor inconvenience...less able bodied folx might have trouble with the stairs).
For anything that could be solved, Debbie fixed right away. She was extremely responsive.
Overall, a great property for a relaxing getaway.

The house was spotless and all appliances weee brand new. Debbie the property manager was amazing and answered all my questions before and during our trip in a timely fashion.
