There is the age-old saying that the spring season is the perfect time for a little bit of spring cleaning. This is especially true when managing your vacation rental — and just in time for Spring Break. Take time to go through what items you no longer need and get rid of the clutter. Maintenance

Think about who will be maintaining your property’s appearance when you’re away. Services like lawn care, hot tubs, and pool maintenance are critical. If you haven’t already, you’ll want to find reliable help to take care of these for the season. You’ll also want to make sure you thoroughly fix any broken fixtures or appliances. Check your dishwashers, laundry machines, and so on. And don’t forget to take a look at the walls. Is a paint touch-up needed? Guests don’t want to see wear and tear when they’re in search of peace and relaxation.
